{ Summer Art Camp Registrations : NOW OPEN } //

My Summer Art Camp registration is now open! The 'Creative Girls' Tribe', which I started last year is a camp for young women ages 11-14 years that want to focus on art and art entrepreneurship. I only accept 6 young women that are serious about their art/craft. I keep this camp small so that I can mentor each girl individually.

'Book & Paper Art Camp' is for 6-10 year olds that love to create and try new art related things. My daughter, River (6), helped me to create a camp that is designed specifically for creative children that need more than the average level of crafting.

{ Ecoprint Paper Packs } : Leaf, Rust & Tea Dyed //

Ecoprint Paper Packs with Soft Ecoprint Wraps. I have been wanting to make something like this for SO long! After teaching several Ecoprint & Mark Making Workshops, the #1 question I was asked was, "What do I do with my papers and textiles?" I made these packs in response to that question. I think these are quite possibly the cutest little things. In my paper packs, I also added lots of my other handmade papers including tea and rust printed along with some mark-making and hand-lettering using my own black walnut ink. I use papers that may not make the grade in my other art that features distinct or unusual prints but are just too pretty to throw away.

Scroll on down to take a look at all the possibilities...and a little secret I am unveiling at the end...img_3032img_2993img_3004img_3002img_3000img_2999img_2997img_3036img_3043img_3046img_3051

These paper bundles are going to be AVAILABLE in my Etsy Shop Update on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 5 pm!

{ Eco-Printing & Mark Making Workshop } // October 16-18, 2015

IMG_9181 IMG_9171 IMG_9226

This past weekend I had the opportunity to teach an 'Eco-printing & Mark Making Workshop' in beautiful Blacksburg, VA. I had a wonderful group of six enthusiastic and creative women gather to learn the process of printing with leaves on fabric and paper.

Eco-printing is not for those who like to have a very controlled art making process. The more I print, the more I learn how many factors can influence the outcome. I was especially grateful for these amazing women that were abundantly patient with my free flowing approach to printing...
